This policy explains what personal data EventMC collects, why, and the choices you have. EventMC is an early preview; we'll update this policy as the service grows and note material changes here.
What we collect
- Account data — the email address you sign in with, so we can authenticate you and contact you about your events.
- Content you upload — recordings, event details, and the transcripts and summaries derived from them.
- Usage data — basic, privacy-respecting analytics needed to keep the service running and improve it.
How we use it
We use your data to provide the service: to authenticate you, to transcribe and analyse the recordings you upload, and to publish the events you choose to make public. Published transcripts and speaker details are intentionally public — that is the purpose of the product.
Processors we rely on
We share data with trusted infrastructure providers only as needed to run the service — hosting, database and storage, transcription, and AI analysis. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your account and the content associated with it.
Your choices
You can access, correct, or delete your data, and unpublish or remove events you control. To exercise these rights, or to request a takedown of content that concerns you, email hello@eventmc.co.
